DESCRIPTION
The home was originally commissioned by the late attorney Allen Chickering Jr., designed by architect William W. Wurster and landscape architect Thomas Church, the project was completed in 1941. The new owner sought to maintain the historic significance and style of the home, yet modernize the property to be highly efficient and comfortable for their style of living.
